There’s not really any facts behind your assertion
High School football has changed dramatically over the past decade. The level of coaching and training has improved across the board. The complexity of the offensive schemes being run by high school teams is far more advanced than what it once was. The gap coming out of high school and jumping to D1 Football isn’t nearly as wide as it once was.

There are freshmen each year that play well as QBs. It’s till TBD but the fact that he’s pushing a senior QB shows he’s actually pretty good. Not the other way around.
