Utah St won 10 games a few years back finishing the season with their 4th string true freshman QB (Kent Myers) starting and winning quite a few games leading them to a bowl win if I remember correctly. I don’t think he’s in the NFL, but they maybe put a RB and/or WR in the NFL from that season (seems like they usually have a UFA skill position player stick every other year or so). Not too different from us (we occasionally get a skill position player in the NFL).

We’re decades removed from the days when the NCAA wouldn’t let freshman play varsity sports. In just about every sport freshman are coming in much more skilled and experienced than 10-20 yrs ago. The game is evolving.
