Seems like the inability of the offense to stay on the field affects the defense just as much, if not more. If teams really are marching down the field on us, then technically it should give the offense time to rest and play better right? And if we can't score on 9 out of 10 possessions, are we really faulting the defense for not giving them 1 more chance? Seems like a stretch.
