Better question. Why would they tell us?

Seriously, it’s just as easy to say “we don’t know yet” as it is to say “it’s this guy.” What’s the reason for telling us? There might be an advantage for secrecy, there might not be. What’s the advantage to telling everyone? There isn’t one.
