If you get mad or upset when BYU loses it’s because you’ve made their successes tied into your own personal self worth. Fanatic fans get all worked up about making the team part of their identity and when an opposing fan starts cheering against your team you feel personally attacked. It’s not healthy, I’ve been that fan, but not for about 5 years and I’m much happier on game day and I still get excited if they win and have some disappointment if they lose, but it’s fleeting and I move on to the next part of my day.

First suggestion. Take a two week break from CB.
