Other players start to try and pick up the slack. When this happens, they are trying to do 2 jobs at once. As has been posted, taking players out for a play or series because they missed an assignment makes them realize “if I  focus on MY job I can still play, it’s better to have 1 gaping hole for a play or series because you sat a guy to hold him accountable than  2-3 the entire game because you have guys doing more than one job.
