to pump so often.  Small tanks also seem to send more solids down the line, so clogging the leech lines.  But I am not an expert.  My parents have too small a tank and have had problems all the time.  I'm 9 years in my house with a bigger tank and good leech lines and have not had to pump the tank.  (I live next to my parents, so the comparison seems to be valid)
