After practice yesterday, Zane Anderson was interviewed and he said one statement that stood out to me about why last years defense seemed to struggle at times. He was asked about his interception on Saturday and he said something about, "it was nice to have confidence that after we got a turnover that the offense was going to be able to score..." It made me realize that as much as we don't want to let it be an excuse, when you're on defense working your butt off and the offense can't do crap, you start to get down and probably not play at your best.
