I now know that much of the issue with the defense was they were just on the field too much last year. I like what he is doing. I still think we lack speed on the edges of the d line to get good pressure with 4, but he's starting to blitz a bit more and mix up the stunts and twists.

The secondary has been solid so far this year and the bend but don't break philosophy has resulted in 2 wins and put them in position to win vs Cal, had the offense just executed better.
