this is such a great point. If the safety is the one that is responsible for
tackling the fly sweeper, and he has to cheat up to stop the edge runs, everything over the top should be open or single coverage.
all it takes is for one or two long passes (and no defense is scared of Tanner's arm at this point) and that safety is back protecting the long throws and we get 12 yard fly sweep gains again. properly executed, you can't stop both and I think we'll see some long passes this weekend.
