bad last year, our program has been on the decline for several years, and because of an array of forces working against it, it wasn’t clear we could ever get back to being a nationally relevant, top 25 caliber program again. Most progress is incremental, but by any measure, we’ve taken a big leap this year. To rubbish what this team has done, and to say it isn’t good enough reflects a fundamental disconnect with reality.
