successful program is going to be less patient w mediocrity. With problems that appear to be fixable, or mistakes that are repeated, people are going to vote w their dollars & stop spending the time & shekels. We can be more patient, emotionally dial it down a bit, but you get the love & glory w success. And impatience and heat if there’s no progress and lose in a manner at home that hasn’t happened for 40 years. Those types of setbacks deserve dissatisfaction, but it’s important to remember they’re good dudes working hard as coaches, and same w young men working hard to play & get an education. Accountability. It’s part of life, I try and act as if I was talking in person. would I say it different if I was talking to a player, their parents, or a coach.
