I think many on CB would rather make excuses for a 5th year senior that is

now in his 3rd season as a starter and has thrown 918 passes than look at reality. Excuses like it's the receivers fault, the coaches fault, the o-lines fault, etc. If after 918 passes someone can't see that Tanner isn't going to get it done, then it's not worth talking with them.
