People are quick to bemoan the culture around a program, e.g. players don’t put in time over the summer, in the weight room, in the film room, in class, arguing in the locker room, pouting on the bench or sideline (football).

Have so few people seen what leadership is and the follow on consequences. Yes, everyone wants to sign Michael Jordans, Kevin Durants and Steph Currys. But culture matters and that can’t just come from coaches.
