It’s very obvious to someone who is totally impartial.
Business people like making money. It’s like trying to believe the the NCAA football playoff is not rigged, or the preseason rankings are not rigged. What are the chances that the teams who have the most viewers/money are consistently given a better ranking by committees and pollsters? Logically it’s not likely, throw money in as an incentive, and it explains everything.
