When were you there last? I attended last year's Stanford game. At one point, they acknowledged Garret Bolles,
a 1st-round NFL Draft pick- who was standing on the Utah sidelines. As I said before, during breaks, they would play highlight promos for recent Utah NFL Draft picks- who are currently playing in the NFL- Alex Smith, Eric Weddle, Devontae Booker, Nate Orchard, Tim Patrick, etc, etc, etc. Utah had a number of high school players on official visits- at the game. Utah ended up losing the game, by two or three points, but the next day, several young men committed to playing at Utah- including two young fellows who had previously committed to BYU.

Yes, BYU has a bigger stadium- substantially bigger. But if you think that the energy at LES is anywhere near that of RES, then I would suggest you attend a game at Rice Eccles. (Go to the last game of the season.)

I'm not criticizing BYU- I cheer for BYU. (I attended BYU for post grad.) Even my wife, who attended Utah, respects BYU "because it is owned, and operated by the leaders of [her] faith- despite the fact that she never stepped foot on BYU's campus. I also cheer for Utah. (I received my bachelor's degree from Utah.)

I happen to know that a number of possible recruits were at the game tonight- including Jayden Daniels, the nation’s No. 2-ranked dual-threat quarterback. I would guess that beating USC- easily- made a strong impression upon these young men.
