One big reason is because they applied and got rejected. This sows feelings of

anger and resentment in some. Then they teach their kids and friends to resent BYU sports. I think if I really wanted to go to BYU and they rejected me over and over, I’d have a bit of a chip on my shoulder. Is want to show how they’re not so great after all. Just my opinion.
