I don't know any casino owners in Vegas, but I know people who have won the
lottery and were explicitly told they could not donate it to the church. They did not lose their membership in the church however. So, while you can remain a temple recommend holder I do question if the church accepts their donations based on their firm stance of gambling. I no longer have handbook 1 so I can't confirm if it provides counsel on the subject.
