How do reps against NMSU make Zach better at this point?

NMSU is horrible. There is not much to gain from this game at all. Playing downs against a crappy NMSU defense will not prepare anyone to face Utah's defense.

Zach needs all the reps for Utah/bowl game/next year. Tanner had plenty of chances.

Repetition. Ability to try different things that will give him more confidence.
