both ends of the floor, often at multiple spots.

I wouldn't call that a freak outing. I just don't find it that impressive. I'd bet a lot of people could do that if they just hogged the ball all game like nobody else was around. It would be pretty boring to watch one guy dribble around and 4 guys stand there.
