The things you mention only matter to BYU, and really have not had any significant impact nationally.
You've fallen in the trap of having to redefine success, because really there isn't any. On the national stage, what BYU has defined as success really matters none. We've accomplished nothing... having a 10 win season back in 2011, and not coming close to that since is not successful.
Beating a really bad Texas team twice... good win for the program, means nothing today.
