much more impact you can have nationally than that. Also I specifically remember watching Sportscenter the night after the Nebraska game and the announcer saying "College Football is back and the wait was worth it! BYU alone was worth it!" Then the next week after the Boise State game they sent a camera crew to follow Tanner Mangum around campus. BYU was literally the talk of the college football world for the first 3 weeks of 2015. So I'm not sure how you wouldn't qualify that as national impact. 

And as far as the other things I mentioned...so what if they're only important to BYU? Your post was about success at BYU, so I gave examples of success at BYU. If you want to talk about BYU Football having a national impact then make your post about that next time.
