Will the committee and their CFP monopoly look bad if a possible P5 CCG representative or potential CCG winner is not ranked?

They have to have them (or any team like them) very much "in waiting" in case they win so they can justify their inclusion.

Same reason Northwestern jumped in this week as well.

Be in the CCG of any P5 or the most likely in line for it and you'll be ranked...
