I first (and last) saw my abs in 2013. It took losing 30lbs to do it.
In reality, I probably lost 40lbs of fat and put on 10lbs of muscle. It was hard to do and not sustainable for me. I only was able to do that because I was deployed and had enough time to work out 2 hrs a day and had somebody cooking all my food for me, so I could really do the carb cycling correctly.
