I recently saw a car that had rolled onto its side in an accident and almost
didn’t stop because I didn’t know if being alone I could help if anyone was hurt and maybe someone else would stop and I thought it maybe happened way earlier anyway and the tow truck hadn’t gotten it.

But saw some smoke or dust coming up so I turned to stop and because I did, another car turned and saw the smoke and stopped who was able to go down and cut the seatbelt from the woman holding onto the handle and hanging there. Then a third car stopped and was able to get 911 on the phone.

If I hadn’t stopped, don’t know if the others would’ve because us two were the only ones to see the last bit of smoke/dirt, and the third car stopped because they saw us down by it. The two ladies likely would’ve frozen to death overnight or come pretty close to it as it was getting dark and nobody could’ve seen the car then. Both ladies were concious and relatively okay, just couldn’t get out of the car until the rescuers came.

Never hesitate to make sure people are okay if they don’t look like they are or you’re not sure they are. Really could save their life. I wish I knew how to find out if they did end up okay. I had to leave before they got them out and this was weeks ago but I can’t forget about it. This was in southern Idaho, it’s a long shot if any of you Idahoans know them but you never know....
