Per capita, Utah can compete with almost any state in terms of overall D1 offers.

I grew up and played my high school and juco football in SoCal. There is absolutely more speed there. However, IMO, utah football players are more ready to succeed at the D1 lvl on the average than most other states. The amount of burnouts and academic casualties in states like Texas, Florida, and California is insane.
