Some advise from a remote worker for the last 10 years
Internet will be your backbone. If you get to remote you will run into both internet speed and internet monthly limits issues. It's best to stay close to a big city to fill these needs. Plus schooling/ward programs will be better for the kids.

Make sure you have a quiet place to work from. Having kids bang on your door while in a meeting can get quite distracting as you turn off/on the mute button.

Make sure you disconnect when it's not work hours. when you are done for the day be done.

It's been a wonderful blessing to watch my kids grow and go to school plays and eat lunch with them. Enjoy those times because not everyone is blessed to be in that position.
