I liked Yoeli immediately. He was a non-member out of Bingham High School when he was recruited. When he committed to BYU he was asked by some, "Why would you want to play for a Mormon school?" His reply was, "I already played at a Mormon school." (Referring to Bingham High and the high % of Latter-Day-Saint students) IIRC, some of the RM's on the BYU BB team were instrumental in his baptism.

It was also my impression that he would have become a Ute had he been offered. Big loss on Krystkowiak's part. IIRC, he thought Childs had a bad temper, which would cause problems. (Nelson ha-ha)

Zippy (Rod Zundel) does his best, but IMO I don't think KSL Sports has been the same since Tom Kirkland left.
