People don't like to see animals die at the hand of other humans. And they certainly don't think of how animals are dying all the time in the wild when no humans are around. People just figure everything is happy and living as long as they don't see it die. They don't even like it if somebody frightens an animal. A few weeks ago I saw a youtube vid of a man feeding ducks with his kids. The ducks were very tame and the guy managed to reach out and grab one. He shows it to his kids and then lets it go. Youtube viewers were all upset that the guy would scare the duck like that. It's just weird how sensitive people have become.
