Not True. Vanguard, Schwab, Fidelity, your bank
etc., doesn't share your financial information with Mint, but you have. Mint now has information that they didn't have before. Very different.

There isn't a right and a wrong here. I don't think having the ability to look at some asset total every day is worth the disclosure of my personal data to a third party. Some of y'all do. Different strokes for different folks.
