Driving home last night “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls was on the radio...
It got me thinking about how timeless that song and so many others are from the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s are to me.

Seems very common that what ever was around during your formative years becomes the standard for great music.

I’ve heard some great songs from this current era but for me nothing compares to the music from my youth. Nostalgia is a very powerful thing... listening to Iris last night brought back memories and emotions from over 20 years ago, it was amazing.
