And, to answer the original question, Utah has similar population as Iowa, Nevada, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Kansas...we and Nevada are among the fastest growing states - whereas the others are pretty stagnant:
- Mississippi:
- FBS - 3, Ole Miss, Mississippi St., Southern Miss (two P5)
- FCS - 3, Mississippi Valley, Jackson St., Alcorn St.
- Iowa:
- FBS - 2, Iowa, Iowa St. (both P5)
- FCS - 2, Northern Iowa, Drake
- Arkansas:
- FBS - 2, Arkansas, Arkansas St. (1 P5)
- FCS - 2, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Central Arkansas
- Kanas:
- FBS - 2, Kansas, Kansas St. (both P5)
- FCS - 0
- Nevada:
- FBS - 2 UNLV, Nevada (0 P5)
- FCS - 0
So, it would be similar to Mississippi; which, if Mississippi can handle, so can Utah.
