Ah one, other one I didn't like was Aragorn wavering on Arwen. That bugged me too.
One change I didn't mind was having Arwen replace Glorfindel in getting Frodo to Rivendell. I thought they did that primarily so they didn't introduce yet another character, and it really didn't impact the story.
