That's just it. Playing time.
You have the grad programs, but upperclassmen are largely leaving to get some PT before it's all done. Maybe some of them think if they can work into PT, they'll get a look for the pros. But other stuff doesn't matter as much. They're older, being attracted to the "glitter" of certain programs has died off. They can hang low for a few months while they're working on whatever final goal it is.

But why is it not realistic? We land grad transfers all the time and they're not all LDS. We had Harvey Jackson not long ago. We get JC guys which is a similar sort of thing.

I don't think the grad transfer market is the hottest thing right now for RB. They'll for sure be looking, but there isn't a guy currently out there who you can look at and say yeah he's immediately the clear #1, or he's even #2. We can do better than that. The aim will be HS and JC first, and grads if they need the depth. I don't think it's that tough of a sell though. Depends on who they're targeting and what they want.
