And now that he's gone - and in trying to make a point regarding an unrelated issue - suddenly it isn't Detmer's fault that the offense didn't roll people and that the team struggled to complete passes.

I don't recall Hill simply throwing the ball into the dirt. I don't know - maybe my memory is just bad. On the other hand, if you can't accept that a poorly designed offense that isn't running well will result in WR's not being open, the QB not having the protection he needs, and overall a lower completion percentage...well, then I don't know what to tell you.
