I'm not sure you even know what you are arguing anymore. Every clipboard guy in the NFL has received some sort of a "shot" in the NFL. Taysom already has and was cut once and then taken on an expanded role in New Orleans even though they demoted him to 3rd String QB when they got Bridgewater.

Taysom was not an accurate passer in college. He simply wasn't, I'm sorry to tell you that. It kept BYU from being elite. Could he improve? Sure. That is the only way he has a chance to play as a starting QB in the NFL. The guy that actually read defenses decently under Detmer but either overthrew or underthrew his man significantly is not going to cut it.

I'm as big of a Taysom Hill fan as you will find. Gave his heart and soul to the BYU program. Incredible athlete. He simply was not a good passer in college because of accuracy.
