Blue for Life All-American
Used to go to Camp Tracy with the cabins every winter.
All of the cabins had something missing except 1, called the plumbers cabin. Our scout master would do what he needed to make sure he got that cabin for us. The rest had like 3 sides and were open to the cold.

Anyway he was in construction so he knew how to hook up the electricity that they had so we had lights and he would bring a huge propane heaters, the ones that would shoot out really hot air like a plane engine, and run those in the cabin. The cabins were just logs no insulation so was still cold, but not dealing with the extreme that others were. We would be in our long johns sleeping in our sleeping bags nice and warm.

They had a sledding hill that we would walk over too, and it was interesting to say the least watching the other scouts huddled around a fire to keep warm.

The other time we went was when I was a Teacher and we went out in the West Desert and my friend had a knock off Spring Bar, so Canvas tent. We had a 2 heaters in the tent, we slept very nice that night.

I would do something similar, I am not for 2 man tent freezing my butt off just to camp.
