Mitchell and Gobert? To me those are conscious decisions of targeting a player you know will be legit, when another GM doesnt. They weren’t cases of just picking the next best available according to the draft boards.

Most draft picks are bust. Grayson may be decent, he could be a backup in the league someday. Bradley sucks for sure. But DL has been amazing for the Jazz, and don’t hold some bad picks against him. Most picks are bad picks, and the chances of those late first round picks panning out are low.
