I saw a surprising tidbit that even the women's powerhouse Connecticut lost 3 million on their women's program from last year. That teams plays to a lot of sell-outs. Their women's teams had 3 million more in expenses than revenue.

There is not much TV money in women's basketball.

The ROC and students help drive attendance for women's soccer and women's volleyball, and student attendance is not generating much revenue for the programs although it does help substantially with the presentation and marketing.

I suspect that the women's volleyball team and women's soccer team still generate little revenue despite their higher attendance.
