We did the natural history museum, the national gallery, and the British museum, all of which were free. We did pay for the Tower of London tour and that was my favorite of the places we toured while in London.

We also just used the tube and bus system to navigate around the city. The tube was pretty easy to learn and get around. The buses we only used once or twice, mainly because I just wanted to ride on a double decker bus.
