We are in London right now with 5 kiddos. Here's what we've liked
For teens: they have loved going to the theater. Students get tickets for 10-25 pounds for most shows, so check it out because each theater does it differently. For Wicked, we showed up at 9 a.m., waited for an hour for the ticket office to open, and got fantastic seats for 25 pounds each (each student can get an extra ticket too for a parent or sibling). They also really loved Hamilton, but you have to get your tix for that ahead of time. If you're coming in the fall, Dear Evan Hansen will be a hot ticket for teens.

My teens also liked just walking around and taking pictures of everything. They especially liked the graffiti art at Leake Street.

Whole Family: The whole family loved Matilda the Musical. Blew away our expectations. We got seats in the last row for 25 pounds each, and we still felt we could see fine.

The family liked Tower of London a lot too ... definitely do the beefeater tour. The whole family also liked lunch at the international market at St. Katherine's Docks, trying different dishes. Similar stuff at Lower Marsh market if you are closer to that.

Younger kids (below 10): V&A Museum of Childhood was really fun. Fun displays of old toys throughout time for older people to look at while younger people play with blocks, in the sandpit, etc. We're here during the winter so there's not much to do outside really. If you come when warmer, there are some fantastic parks.

Younger kids also liked riding the double decker bus. We didn't do a hop on, hop off tour. We mostly did the tube but just took a double decker bus home a couple of times for the experience.

Best souvenirs for us was Leicester Square.
