Sitake/Tuiaki recruited and coached players on to the NFL while at Utah.
The P5 allure is an overwhelming advantage that isn't going away, but schools' track record of developing players into NFL draft picks looms very large as well.
Tuiaki/Sitake need success stories here at BYU. Get some of their boys into the league, and we'll see if that makes a difference. Recruits clearly seem fixated on the track record of the actual program vs. Tuiaki/Sitake when it comes to getting to the pro's.
Boise St. has proven it can develop and get kids to the next level. Boise St. gets more 4 star players than BYU. They get far more kids drafted and in the higher rounds. Sitake/Tuiaki need to establish such a track record here. We'll see if that changes anything.
If they can't, I see little reason to think things get better for BYU. The schedules keep getting tougher and our recruiting classes do not.
