Leeds castle with its mote and surroundings really captured my imagination. It’s kind of what I picture when I picture a castle in the English countryside.

We got excellent photos in Dover... the castle there was very cool to explore with great views of the channel.


We also took side trips to Stonehenge and Windsor castle which were great. We didn’t end up going north to Oxford and Cotswolds that was like the first team left out of the tournament for us so I can’t truly comment on what would be better. Just that you wouldn’t be disappointed with a trip to Leeds castle and Dover castle and the white cliffs.
