that Saint Mary's gym wouldn't seem appealing? The practice facility has no pull? The school's setting has no appeal? The bigger campus has no appeal? Certain academic paths wouldn't appeal to them over St. Mary's? The women they see on campus don't get the juices flowing? They don't consider the whole picture? It's very narrow to focus on the HC thing. You don't know what appeals to different people.

Take Nick Kurtz from the football team a few years back for instance. Non-LDS 4 Star from San Diego......one of the things he mentioned why he chose BYU was because he felt like his car wouldn't get broken into as much as it did where he is from. Stuff like that wouldn't even cross your mind normally. If a kid that's from a decent place in SoCal thinks like that.....what is some kid that grew up in some dingy Rio apartment thinking on recruiting trip to Provo? Who knows. But again, these aren't 18 years old that are stumbling out of pubs in Manchester on the weekend currently. The ones that make it to the US for school are so buttoned up already. It's really not a jump at all.
