There seems to be a belief that if we were only P5, that the floodgates would open and all of these people who normally
would not consider BYU for honor code or other cultural reasons would all of the sudden consider BYU.
I don't see it.
I do see it influencing some borderline BYU/P5 recruits who lean toward P5, but that is a pretty narrow subset of recruits.
BYU is and will always remain BYU, warts and all, regardless of P5 status.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be glad to have any of those that are. I just think that the very nature of BYU is
