True. The other problem is that it is hard to accept everything that might
change our comfortable world view. We have scientists with agendas, or at least presuppositions, and we as observers are the same. So we should rightfully be skeptical of what we read, but we have to take the time to be informed and then be willing to change what we think in the face of credible evidence contrary to our presuppositions. It’ just hard to take the time to do so and it’s also hard to change our beliefs because we feel our whole world view might be threatened. I don’t know anyone off hand who is excited to change the way they see things. At least not the big things.
