Just shooting off emails and film is about the equivalent to shooting off resumes on indeed and hoping to get a job. Go to camps. Ask for intros from people who might know people (if his coaches played college ball with people or even if they just network at clinics and stuff that’s who to ask). And last but not least be realistic. I only wanted to play at BYU and wound up getting cut at the tryout twice before I transferred to dixie. Problem is, I was easily good enough for SUU or even USU if I’d have been realistic in the beginning. Don’t be like me in that regard.
