but my wife's cousin's kid pratices and competes in a league and even though I don't like bowling and think its kind of a silly sport, most sports are probably kind of silly when you really think about it. for him, its been a great way to build up his confidence and give him something associate with. and whatever grievances I might have with bowling the fact is you've got a 12-year old kid who isn't playing video games and is good enough at a sport that he humiliates 5 grown men. good for him.
