ties the Vesper loop pretty well - the entire movie is Bond’s furious quest for vengeance, and he’s rough and blunt and angry seeking it. The ending scene (where he confronts the Quantum agent who’d manipulated Vesper) is great, and shows Bond’s return to relative level-headedness.

Skyfall was great. A little long, but there was so much in it for the hardcore Bond fan, so many good details. DC is just so good and plays Bond so well.
