To the stem fair at BYU. I got a call from one of the companies I had talked to, and they flew me down to interview. During the interview event I had to wear a badge they printed out and gave to me and it had my name and "Brigham Young University" with no Idaho. So I made sure that all the people I talked to knew that my tag was wrong and that I actually was going to graduate from BYU-Idaho. Every single response I got from the recruiters and interviewers went something along the lines of "That distinction means nothing to me" and from a guy who told me he was a BYU grad "No one here cares and BYU and BYUI will mean the same to them."
I got offered and took the job. I pretty much owe my career to the association that BYUI has with BYU. And thus in my experience a BYUI degree got me just as far as a BYU degree would have.
